NEIL TRAINER
Neil's pictures from 1973 to 1980 when he was an Airwest pilot. He flew Twin Otter float aircraft, part time out of Vancouver Harbour to Nanaimo, Victoria, and Lake Union in Seattle.
The third picture is Neil and Mary Trainer with their grandkids: Woods (age 6), Lake (age 5) and Willow (age 3).
NICK ORCHARD
Two photos 51 years apart!
The first picture from this year on the set of Murder in a Small Town. The second is at CHQM 1973 where he was Production Manager.
Nick suggests that maybe he should retire some day!
DAN PHILIPS
The first picture is from CBC 1970's, the second from 1990's after leaving CBC and the third is of Dan in the Toronto harbor.
BILL MURRAY & RON MAHY
The first picture was taken maybe early 70's when Bill was working in the Admin. Department. Donna Coles, (middle) Communications Analyst, CBC Toronto. (Prior at CBC Winnipeg as secretary to A.E.(Alf) Parr, Program Director, CBW.) Ron Mahy (Human Resources Manager, CBC British Columbia) on the right. The picture was taken by Foncie - the famous street photographer in downtown Vancouver.
The second picture is of Bill and his grandson while visiting the captain on the bridge of the Queen of Oak Bay heading for Vancouver Island, years after he retired from BC Ferries. The third is of Ron from the recent Christmas party.
RON PETRESCUE
The first picture is from 1968. Ron as a camera operator in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Then Ron's last days at CBC-TV Vancouver as Head of Production Services. 3rd As President and General Manager of Dome Productions in Toronto. 4th Acting as an Apple Vender on a Hallmark Movie in Vancouver.
