"REDUCTIO AD ABSURDUM" (posted Nov. 15, 2025)
PART ONE - PROFILE OF THE EGOMANIAC WITH AN INFERIORITY COMPLEX
An egomaniac with an inferiority complex is someone who is obsessively preoccupied with their own unrealistic feeling of inadequacy, and it's safe to assume they behave aggressively and impulsively to over compensate with delusions of personal greatness to mask insecurity.
Such individuals typically exhibit the following attributes:
EXAGGERATION - People who have a tendency to exaggerate details and events do so for reasons closely associated with egomania and inferiority. They may be trying to overemphasize themselves to others to promote their worth and image, while secretly fighting the feeling of 'less than'.
RIDICULE - Those who openly and frequently ridicule others and put down everyone around them in ways ranging from minor insults to extreme aggressive judgment. By behaving this way, they are trying to expose the defects in others to draw attention off of whatever personal defect they are avoiding at the time.
FISHING FOR COMPLIMENTS - Egomaniacs love compliments.
HYPER SENSITIVE - People who seem too tense or sensitive to the opinions of others also exhibit signs of egomania and inferiority complex.
HATE LOSING - To an egomaniac with an inferiority complex, losing means you ARE a loser! It makes you feel that you are 'less than', and it exposes your weakness or faults to others to judge you. You hate losing because it tarnishes the reputation you want people to see, and it hurts you deeper to know that you failed.
PROBLEMS PAYING ATTENTION - Those who have a hard time listening to people at all and holding conversations, can be showing signs of being an egomaniac with an inferiority complex. Either they are not interested enough in what it is you have to say because it's not about them, or they are having an internal dialog obsessing about how they should respond, what their response will say about them, or what they look like while listening. Instead of being in the present, they are worried or focused on themselves. Instead of listening, they just wait for their turn to talk.
In the past 92 years, two charismatic democratically elected leaders fit the aforementioned profile; Adolph Hitler and Donald Trump.
Nazi enablers brought Hitler to power in the 1930's. The Nazi playbook was copied (Project 2025) by far-right Conservatives, bringing Trump to power for a second time (in total control of all four branches of government).
SEGUE - "TO BEND OR NOT TO BEND"
The phrase "bend the knee" is a common idiom that refers to an act of submission or surrender.
In medieval times, it was a sign of loyalty and fealty to one's lord or king.
In modern times, it can be seen as a symbol of subservience or capitulation.
Somehow, "Crazy" Donald Trump "forced" Charles II King of Canada, Emirs, Presidents, Sultans, Prime Ministers, Dictators, Despots, Oligarchs et al, to "bend their knee" to a two-bit con-artist.
The world's "High and Mighty" succumbing to "bending the knee" in an attempt to curry favour from a "Pay-to-Play" transactional gangland-leader, whose "ethics and morals" make the Mafia/IOC/FIFA crowd look like a bunch of Mother Theresa amateurs.
Why?
Because, like Hitler, he's bat-shit nuts and extremely dangerous!
As his niece Mary explains, Uncle Donald is an irrational egomaniac with an inferiority complex, in total control of the most powerful economic and military nation on the planet. Consequently, he's bat-shit scary and extremely dangerous!
Worth noting: "The Orange Menace" shows respect to leaders who have not caved to random threats. Proclaiming "I like him" when referring to Putin, XI, and to the surprise of many, our "Captain Canada", Mark Carney, who (so far) refuses to "bend the knee" to the tyrant.
What is it about our new PM that makes a person like Trump "like Mark Carney"? Is it because he's a business man and not a politician? Will the positive relationship endure to advantage Canada in the ongoing negotiations?
Stay tuned.
PART TWO - HOW ABSURD IS IT?
Absurdity is the state or condition of being unreasonable, meaningless, or so unsound as to be irrational.
Absurdity derives from the Latin "absurdum" meaning "out of tune". The Latin "surd" means "deaf", implying stupidity.
Imagine Plato and Aristotle sitting on a park bench in New York's Central Park on a warm Fall afternoon "one upping each other" in a game of "American absurdities".
"Tesla shareholders overwhelmingly recommend a new pay-package of one TRILLION dollars for Elon Musk, the richest person on the planet".
"The Gulf of Mexico is now the Gulf of America".
"The president of the United States, having accumulated 34 felony convictions to date, continues to run amuck. His latest gambit, provoke Venezuela into a war."
"Donald Trump prepares to pardon a convicted serial sex offender who will bring down his presidency if she reveals the truth."
As the sun begins to dip and the air begins to cool, Aristotle says to his friend and mentor, "Nuff said, time we get the hell out of here. I mean move to The Great White North."
"Sounds good."
AND TO CONCLUDE "TRUISM'S"
Why does the intensity to pee increase by a million when you are trying to unlock the door to your house.
Procrastination is a good thing. You always have something to do tomorrow, plus you have nothing to do today.
All of my childhood punishments have become my adult goals: Eating vegetables, staying home, having a nap and going to bed early.
